| Booking Procedure
To book a walk or event please follow the following steps:
Step 1
Please either complete the Online Booking Form found within the TrailFinder/Walking Grade section of this Website. You can also contact us via the general Contact us form. Alternatively telephone Striding Ahead on 0845 638 1885 or email info@stridingahead.co.uk with your booking enquiry details, name and telephone number.
In that initial telephone conversation you and the Representative will discuss the specific features of the walk or event that you are interested in booking, in particular the available dates and prices.
During your initial telephone conversation with our Representative you may make a 'provisional' booking of our services for an agreed date and at an agreed price, which will be held for 7 days with no obligation on you to confirm the booking. This provisional booking is not deemed to be a contract for our services. However, as a goodwill gesture we will agree that providing you satisfy Step 2 (by providing us with a Booking Form reflecting the terms agreed in our initial telephone conversation and a payment to us for the full amount required) within 7 days of making the provisional booking, we will accept your booking and payment. If you do not respond in this way within 7 days we will cancel your provisional booking.
Step 2
Following the initial telephone conversation you should print off the PDF version of the Booking Form available within our booking pages at www.stridingahead.co.uk/booking_index.asp. If you are unable to print off the form you should contact Striding Ahead on the above contact details and they will post a copy of the Form to you. If you decide that you wish to book the walk or event that you discussed with the Representative you should complete and return the Booking Form together with your full payment.
Payments can be made by cheque made payable to Striding Ahead LLP, by Credit/Debit card or by bank transfer.
If paying by cheque, please post it together with the completed Booking Form to Striding Ahead LLP, 28 Kirkstone Close, Kendal, Cumbria, Lake District, LA9 7HU.
If paying by Credit/Debit card, please provide the relevant information on your Booking Form where indicated and then fax it to 0845 638 1886 or post it to the above address.
If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please notify the Representative and he/she will instruct you accordingly.
Your submission of the Booking Form and full payment is deemed to be an offer to book our services on the Terms and Conditions set out on the Booking Form.
Step 3
Upon receipt of the Booking Form and full payment, we will review your offer and if we choose to accept it you will be sent a confirmation of your booking as well as your Itinerary Leaflets and Equipment/Medical Forms (see step 4)
Step 4
All participants of the event must return the Equipment/Medical Form to Striding Ahead prior to the event providing the relevant information on the Form where indicated and then fax it to 0845 638 1886 or post it to the above address.
The Equipment-Medical Form is also available for downloading from this Website at www.stridingahead.co.uk/booking_index.asp.
Step 5
If you are organising this event for a group of people, please ensure that all participants of the event are aware of our Terms and Conditions, and that they all receive an Itinerary Leaflet and an Equipment/Medical Form which contains details of your event, directions and clothing required. By attending the walk or event all members are accepting our Terms and Conditions as those governing our relationship with them.
Step 6
Please make sure you retain a copy of your Booking Form, which contains our Terms and Conditions, for your benefit.
